Project ACruelAngelsThesis
A downloadable game for Windows, macOS, and Linux
Project ACruelAngelsThesis is a top-down roguelite stealth game created in 14 days by Speedcrew Entertainments for My First Game Jam: Winter2020.
As in any good stealth game, you can't just run up to your enemies and hit them in the face! You have to sneak up behind them and backstab them.
The game currently features a couple of rooms, a few unique items and a final boss fight, but more will definitely come in future updates.
Controls:
Move: WASD
Aim: Mouse
Attack: Left Mouse Button
Use Active Item: space
Swap Active Items: X
EPILEPSY WARNING: The game is very flashy, so be careful if you have any background of epilepsy or similar!
Post Jam Update 1: Fixed a game breaking bug

I enjoyed the game for a little bit, but I ran out of stuff to do pretty quickly. I’m not sure if this was supposed to have randomly generated levels or not, but I ran through the same map four times before getting stuck due to a game ending bug. Sometimes, when I used the dash ability, I would somehow jump out of the map? The game would just lock up and I wouldn’t be able to do anything after that.
It also would’ve been helpful if the game listed it’s controls in some way. I noticed I had two separate item slots, but I could never find a way to swap between the two.
Hi, thank you for your feedback,
As this was developed for a gamejam, we simply ran out of time to
create more levels, but more will come in the future :)
To address the bugs you noticed:
When you completed 4 levels you should have reached the boss fight.
Something probably went wrong there.
We're aware of the issue with the Dash and it is already on our TODO list but thank you for telling us either way :)
These are the controls:
Move: WASD
Aim: Mouse
Attack: Left Mouse Button
Use Active Item: space
Swap Active Items: X
Again, thank you so much for playing our game and giving us feedback!
